Each year, National HIV Testing Day is a national mobilization effort for local organizations, health departments and businesses to come together, in a collaborative response to the HIV/AIDS epidemic through education and encourage individuals residing in their respective communities to know their HIV-status. The day is also set aside as an opportunity to disseminate culturally appropriate messages to individuals living with HIV and those affected by the disease. |
